Final Project Idea

  Upon discussing with my group members, we decided to change up our initial idea of doing a funeral. We came to the conclusion that it would be too difficult to incorporate that idea into our creative filmmaking. Plus, implementing it would require elements that would make this too difficult. Due to, the complications of getting to or recording a gravestone location. So we ended up going down a rabbit hole of several other ideas. But, we still wanted to be original/innovative and stay in the genre of mystery. So keeping these factors in mind, we decided to go through with a plot of a missing person, kidnapper and putting in a plot twist into our story. This still stays in the original genre of mystery and it would be much easier to accomplish and portray than a funeral scene.  Furthermore, our plot will now display a character going missing for a certain extended period. Title sequence research

Title sequences are the opening of the movie that deploys several tactics of introducing the film and can use a variety of editing software. It gives the audience a general gist of the aesthetics and genre of the film. Moreover, lets them know cast members, and gives credit to the director and the producer.  The first film that I decided to delve further into was Enchanted (2007) Enchanted had a very aesthetic and creative title sequence. It essentially portrays how the plot of the movie will unfold from a fairytale/fantasy book. It zooms in on the book and then flips through the "pages" with the graphics having displays of basic fantasy aspects. For example, carriages, roses, forbidden apples, a guy and a girl in love, a mermaid, a heel, and etc. Simultaneously, it has text of the cars, the producer, actors, and etc. This gives a fantasy and light hearted mood to the movie and the audience can expect to see whimsical.
